Is African Attitude a certified shop?

Does African Attitude provide a buyer protection?

As Trusted Shops member you also benefit from the Trusted Shops buyer protection. That means that you may claim the Trusted Shops buyer protection when placing an order with us, which will hedge you against the failure to deliver and other disputes with the shop provider.

How secure is the transfer of my personal information to African Attitude?

Which payment methods does African Attitude offer?

As our customer you have the choice between the following secure payment methods:

    • credit card payment
    • PayPal/PayPal Express
    • direct debit (not available for all countries)
    • purchase orders (supported by Billpay; only available for customers from Germany as well as private customers from Austria and Switzerland)
    • payment in advance
    • payment on delivery (not available for foreign customers outside Germany)

Delivery, delivery times and returns

Which countries do you ship to?

Of course we deliver to every place in Germany as well as in Europe - but also worldwide.

In case your home country is not listed in our country list, please just send us a short note. We will integrate your mother land in no time!

How much is the delivery cost for my order at African Attitude?

For orders within Germany with a value up to 50 Euros we charge a small delivery fee of only 4,90€ - no matter how big or tall your parcel is.

Does African Attitude offer free shipping?

Yes, as a customer within Germany we ship free of charge already for orders worth 50 Euros or more.

Are my desired items availabe?

Usually all products you see online are on stock and will be delivered right away. If a product is sold out, this will be indicated in the shop view. At this time you won´t be able to order this product.

But in such a case you should use our automated information system to inform you as soon as your desired product is available again. To do this, please proceed as follows:

    1. Register at (at least if you don´t have an account up to now): https://www.africa-shop24.com/customer/account/create/
    2. Use the search box top right on the website to look for the desired product (sold out products are usually not shown in the categories - by using the search box you will always find it)
    3. On the product page click on the link "Sign up to get notified when this product is back in stock"

And you will get informed immediately and automatically via email when your desired product is back in stock.

How long is the delivery time at African Attitude?

We do our very best that you receive your ordered goods as soon as possible. That is why all our products are on stock and can be dispatched right away.

Normally we ship your goods within one day after your order. If you have chosen payment in advance the parcel is usually shipped within one day after the receipt of your payment to our account.

Within Germany the goods are usually shipped by DHL, which delivers regularly within 1-2 days to the recipient.

This means that you usually receive the goods within 1-3 business days.

For very urgent orders we offer express shipping. Please note that its availability depends on the disposability of the products and the time of your order. Please give us a call in advance - preferably before starting the checkout process - so we can tell you if express shipping is available to you.

Orders abroad are shipped with DHL/German Post Office. The standard delivery time varies depending on the shipment size, type and destination.

I want to return an item. What should I do?

If you don´t like an item or it doesn´t fit, you can return or exchange it within the statutory withdrawel period of 14 days after receipt. The statutory provisions for the right of withdrawal can be found here.

You have to pay for the immediate costs for the return - in this case the postal charges. Unfortunately we can not accept not prepaid parcels.

Of course we supply to any place in Germany. Apart from that we also deliver to all countries listed in our shipping table

The ordering process at African Attitude - Africa-Shop24.com - is easy and secure - thanks to SSL encryption.

If you still have problems with the ordering process, you will find a detailed explanation of the procedures in our order aid. But of course we´ll also gladly assist you with your requests on the phone, via email or a message through our contact form.


Product range

Are there any more products than those shown here?

All products we currently sell are displayed in the online shop. It might be possible that we just received new products and are preparing to display them in our system. Therefore it is worthwhile to visit African Attitude frequently to check out for new products.

How often is the product range extended?

The African Attitude team constantly researches for new products to expand our range. In most cases we receive new products for our shop weekly. Therefore it is worthwhile to frequently visit our online shop.

In addition you may find under the menu item "for browsing" a list with the newest products, African Attitude has introduced.

How do I find out about new products?

To always be informed about new products at African Attitude, we recommend you to sign up for our newsletter or to subscribe to an RSS feed for the categories you are interested in.

So you will always be updated when we have received new, exciting and extraordinary products in our range.

I can not find the products I am looking for...

Have you already checked out our alphabetical product index? There you will find the main products and product groups African Attitude offers in its range.

Additionally the use of the search function at the very top of each page is mostly very useful, too.

If you though haven´t found your desired product, we try our best to fulfil your wishes. In this case please send us a short email via our contact form. Please describe the desired product as good as possible. We will try to make our local employees in Africa to get the item you wish.

Are your goods traded fair?

A definite and very clear YES! All of our products come from fair trade from South Africa or other African countries.

With African Attitude, Africa-Shop24.com, we want to support the local crafters in Africa, who produce such unusual, fancy and unique products to make a living.

The welfare of these people is particularly our aim. Therefore we are pleased if you as our valued customer like our products.

Does African Attitude support social projects in Africa?

Yes, African Attitude is committed to social projects in South Africa. Currently we support with Sibongile and "The Music Therapy Community Clinic" two local projects in the proximity of Cape Town. Here children and young people are helped in various ways, so they hopefully might be heading a better future. For this aim African Attitude donates 10% of the sales to these two projects.

    Thank you for your interest in our services. Yes, we also deliver to Portugal. Simply use the regular checkout process and choose "Portugal" for your billing and delivery address.
