About the authors

Kai-Uwe Küchler lives and works in Zeuthen near Berlin. Since 1993 he has shown professional slideshows to destinations in the Himalayan region, in southern Africa, Northern Europe, and in South America. On several trips with the post ships he went after the myth of Hurtigruten. The Verlagshaus Würzburg has published illustrated books about Tibet and Iceland, as well as numerous calendar by Kai-Uwe Küchler.

Livia and Peter Pack founded the company Pack Safari Namibia. Livia Pack, born in Berlin, came to Namibia in 1993 and 1995 finally moved into their dream land.

Peter Pack, born and raised in Namibia, lived in Hanover in 1980 and returned to his home in 1992.
